Kimora Lee Simmons Closet
Designing
spaces is one of my favorite parts of my work, so
when asked to design Kimora Lee Simmons closet, I
jumped on board! The space; reconfiguring two rooms
and an existing closet into one master closet, and
the timeline, 3-1/2 weeks to completion, were two
challenges I couldn't turn down.

BHO Photo Gallery - Kimora Lee Simmons Closet
Working
tirelessly and continuously, we were able to transform
and construct one of the most beautifully designed
closets I personally have ever seen. The trick was
to connect a 'his & hers" space, when the "her" has
more clothing than a department store, and still give
"his" a fair share of space. That coupled with the
fact, that even though the space was long, 47 feet
to be exact, the actual space was not wide enough
to construct an island. I opted to construct a peninsula
instead.
The photos are what I call pre-finals; clothing had
yet to be loaded inside at the time these photos were
taken. However, the look and feel of the space is
warm, romantic, and screams function. Some other special
areas include; glass shelving, vanity, 3 way mirror
doors, hand painted details, mirrored pocket doors.
