I began writing custom-made House Books in 1990. It was an idea I had when I realized how much time my clients were wasting looking and searching for important information and telephone numbers. I knew there should be a way that all this important information needed to run the household could be gathered and compiled into an easy to read format.

Back in the day, I would go to my client's homes, with my "Paul Bunyan" laptop, and dot matrix printer in tow. I would go room to room gathering their important info, and enter it on custom-made pages. When the word got out from my clients, that they had this great house book, it was only a matter of time before my referral business was out of control.
